Princess cake!
Now for the big reveal:
TA-DA!
Six layers of fluffy, moist strawberry cake with vanilla cream-cheese icing.
She loved it.
I got the candle mid-blow! But darn, I forgot to get a picture of the cake once opened. I guess that’s because I was too busy serving.
It was a rockin’ party. There were manicures, makeovers, dancing, a piñata, games, LOTS of yummy food, and best of all every young guest came dressed in her princess best.
It’s inspired me to thinking that maybe Sofía’s next birthday-pool-party might be mermaid-themed.
(Permission granted from various Mamas to post pics of these princesses.)

Sofia and the birthday girl and guests are obviously having a great time.Sofia looks so cute.
Mermaids, huh? Just make sure the costumes are swimming pool-able–or you will have a whole bunch of little mermaids with LEGS.

Thank you so much for all your hard work on the beautiful cake. I was stunned how pretty it looked. It tasted so yummy as well! H loves her purse too. What I love about your cakes is that you always hit the nail on the head even when my descriptions are so vague. It was perfect for my princess! I always read you blog with Google Reader and I never think to comment. Keep up the great work! I want to be you in my next life!
