I finally got around to shelling all those beans I had drying in the sunporch, and this is the grand total:
4.6 ounces.
Ounces.
Ok I know the deer mowed the bushes badly before we got to harvest, but really, 1/3 of a pound? It’s barely more than I planted to begin with.

So what are you going to do with these? Are you going to cook them or save them for planting next spring?

I think I’m going to save them for next Spring, because there’s not enough to make good eating. At least they can save me some postage on buying more seeds next year.
