Must-see video
So maybe I’m a sap (was there ever any question?) but this clip of Paul Potts, a mobile phone salesman singing on “Britain’s Got Talent”, made me laugh and cry and want to cheer.
It’s not only that the pieces he chooses are so emotionally loaded, but that seeing someone so unassuming – in his own words, “insignificant” – come into his own in front of an audience and a panel of skeptical judges is terribly moving.
