A little makeup never hurt
Our pool chairs have seen better days. They’re just cheap white plastic chairs we inherited with the house, and they’ve been stored outside for years – so they’re badly stained with mildew, oak tannins, and whatever else puddles in their seats all winter long every year. They just look filthy even when they’re clean. Case in point: I scrubbed them all down with vinegar the other day hoping to get some of that black gunk off, and set them in full sun for two hours, but they looked exactly the same.
Time for a little chemical intervention.
Voila plastic paint. Two light coats and we had “new” chairs.
Now I know spray paint is no treat for the environment, but 2/3 of one can has got to be better than three whole new chairs, right?

Wow, Diana, I never thought of doing that. You know how bad out chairs are…and we almost never use them, but, boy do your “new” chairs look good.
Did you get the pool “up” for the season?

Diana, check your e-mail about pillows for said “new” chairs. :)!
