Flower Girl

We had a wonderful time in Boston this past weekend at Jason and Jenny’s wedding, two friends of ours from way, way back.

It was in the Lindsay Chapel of the Emmanuel Church in Boston – a lovelier space I have rarely seen.

Josh got some really good candid shots, though for some reason the camera wasn’t focusing well.

Sofía wasn’t being quiet enough to stay in the wedding, so we didn’t get to take any pictures of Josh all dressed up in his new suit. -sigh-

After the wedding he did take a few photos of Sofía in the dress I made her, though!

And I was so glad I insisted on taking the video recorder (even though the quality isn’t great) because the official video camera did not record. So if I hadn’t insisted, we wouldn’t have any video at all. It is so sad, because Jason and his friends composed all original music for the ceremony, so I wish I had left the recorder on for the rest of the wedding too!

Sofia looks darling! You are so creative.
Glad you got the video. Sometimes those last minute, “maybe I shoulds” really pay off.

I had to fight and fight to bring the video, all the way up until we were actually leaving the hotel for the ceremony. Josh was worried I’d make a scene, I suppose. :)
